About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage client accounts, monitor creditworthiness, and build strong, long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, accounting, and client relationship management, with the ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management

Develop, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with clients.

Actively listen to client needs, anticipate goals, and provide effective solutions.

Collaborate with clients to create business plans and strategies aligned with industry standards.

Address client concerns promptly and offer innovative problem-solving approaches.
Credit & Account Monitoring

Assess clients’ creditworthiness using credit scores, payment history, and financial data.

Recommend appropriate credit limits and terms based on risk assessment.

Monitor client accounts for payment performance and potential risks.

Evaluate clients’ financial statements, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Business Development & Portfolio Growth

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new customer acquisition opportunities.

Create and execute growth strategies to expand client accounts.

Stay updated on industry trends and market changes affecting client portfolios.
Operational & Support Functions

Oversee client onboarding, including training, documentation, and account setup.

Provide ongoing account support and monitor progress toward client objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth account management.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in account management, client relations, or financial services.

Strong understanding of credit evaluation and financial analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
