Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) invites applications for the 2025/2026 academic year from qualified candidates interested in pursuing diploma, certificate, and degree programmes.
SUA is recognized for producing highly skilled professionals and innovative researchers in agriculture and related fields. With decades of experience—dating back to 1972 when the then Faculty of Agriculture awarded its first PhD—SUA continues to deliver quality training through expert academic staff and well-structured programmes.

Registration Procedures

Programme Registration:
Admitted students must complete online self-registration via the SUA Student Information System (SUASIS) within two weeks of the academic year starting.
Requirements: Payment of tuition and fees + valid National Health Insurance cover. -
Course Registration:
Within the first two weeks of each semester, students must register for all core and elective courses relevant to their programme to meet required credit hours.

Non-Tanzanian applicants whose academic certificates are not issued by NECTA or NACTE should send their application letter and scanned academic documents to: admission@sua.ac.tz.
